Besides location, the hotel staff deserves a good evaluation, because they solved the problem described below.

Pool was fantastic and loved the one experience of "aquasize" ie. "pool party". Would have gone again if it were available. Great buffet breakfast. Would have loved some fish (sardines) for breakfast but most people do not. We needed more clean table in the breakfast area. Staff did not seem aware so I spoke to front desk and the response was immediate. The kids club and pizza happy hour were appreciated. We used the private gym we had access to twice and if was well equipped, friendly and a great resource for us. Our room was nice though I would not want to be reliant on cooking in room. Though not supplied with coffee nor tea you could get some at breakfast easily. On arrival they had not provided us with 2 twin beds. That was easily rectified on request.

The hotel was in a great location just up from the old town and 5 mins walk from beaches. The hotel looked like it had been through a refurb and looked smart and fresh. Our apartment was modern, with lots of space, no problem with the AC, couldn’t have asked for the price. Really comfortable. Cleaners came every day and also replenished towels which was a great bonus. Breakfast catered for most, we thought it was well presented, with nothing ever running out. It had a selection of cooked, cold, fruit, pastries, cakes, bread etc. Pool area was clean, big pool and lots of sun loungers, and a pool bar well positioned for a beer or cocktail. We went to the gym on our stay, it is a public gym that the hotel guests have free access to (under the hotel) and because of this, it really stands out from other hotel gyms. Large weight room with an abundant of extremely good kit, free weights, and Olympic bar rack areas Every member of staff we spoke to were polite, helpful and welcoming. Couldn’t fault this hotel for the price we paid.

Room was perfect - spacious, comfortable, had a great balcony which overlooked the pool and had a great breeze coming through no matter the time of day. It was a 10 minute walk in to town which was totally fine but wasn’t easy to just duck in and out should you need to.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast is good selection and quality. Located about 15 mins walk downhill from old town of Lagos so location is really good. The pool area looked fabulous and spotless. Room had bedroom, living room and balcony over looking the pool area albeit balcony was shaded for most of day except for 1-2 hrs in evening.

We found the hotel to be in an Idea location only a 10 minute stroll from the old and within walking distance to a number of beaches. Our room was spacious and modern with a fully functional kitchen which was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was pretty good, there were more than enough options. The hotel has a great pool and loads of sunbeds and even on days when we went to the beach in the morning there was always plenty left if we went to the pool in the afternoon.

We had a wonderful stay at Aqualuz Lagos. The location was excellent, exactly as described, and within easy reach of everything. Breakfast was fabulous, with plenty of choice to start the day well. The front desk staff were extremely helpful, providing clear directions to the old town and to the free car parking just a short, easy 5-minute walk away. We also really appreciated the upgrade, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The pool area was lovely and chilled out. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, great games room and gym. The rooms were spacious and cleaned daily. The location was ideal for walking into the old town for a wander and for dinner and it’s also close to many of the beaches. Overall I found the hotel exceeded my expectations.

The staff is extremely helpful when I checked in as it’s late and the first room was not lighted well in the corridors so the gentleman kindly rearranged room and accompanied me to the new floor to ensure everything is ok. Other staff is also very helpful and informative!
